General/Transplant Anesthesiologist (all ranks) Emory University Hospital

Emory University Hospital is a tertiary referral center and one of the major hospitals affiliated with Emory University School of Medicine. Scope of practice includes all surgical sub-specialties with particular focus in hepatobiliary, oncologic, vascular, transplant and neuroanesthesia. Pre-operative assessment and post-operative care of patients are integral components of faculty practice. Faculty provide medical direction in a care team model and teaching/education opportunities are abundant. We encourage our team to pursue a variety of academic pathways and prospective facultycan expect protected non-clinical time and ample opportunity to pursue academic endeavors. Our faculty has a wide-breadth of expertise in clinical research, quality improvement processes, data analytics, and health service projects (local, national and international). Anesthesiologists at Emory University hold leadership roles within the hospital and at the institution level. We collaborate with faculty at Georgia Tech, the Center for Disease Control, The Emory School of Medicine, the Department of Translational Research and the Emory School of Law to develop ideas, change the practice of medicine and to build innovative and creative careers.
