Dr. Strickland's clinical expertise and research are in the areas of pediatric pain management and cancer pain for both adults and pediatrics patients. She enjoys being on the acute pain service helping patients after surgeries. She uses a multidisciplinary approach to treat pain.

Dr. Strickland is interested in the treatment of acute and chronic pain from a multidisciplinary approach including medications, procedures, physical therapy, YOGA, mindfulness, and acupuncture. Areas of interest include acute post surgical pain, headaches, sacroiliac joint pain, complex regional pain syndrome and back pain. She also has subspecialized interest in pediatric and cancer pain management.
